Working with the materials produced by Ceramit gives me the chance to be concentrated completely on the creative aspect of the work because I feel secure that technological problems are impossible. These materials make my imagination free and I can realize my ideas in an optimal way. Some of my large dimensional ceramic plastics such as “The Last Supper”, 2005 (Sculptural park Jugo Vuten – Belgium), “After a Battle Landscape”, 2007 (Motel “Ihtiman”), “Ichar’s Childhood”, 2007, and “Seven Days”, 2009, I realized with the chamotte and the glazes obtained from Ceramit.
I most sincerely recommend to my colleagues to trust that Ceramit produces a variety of materials with constant high quality and stability over time.

I work with clay PC 02 S0-2, which is better for moulding and has a better general deportment than any other that has fallen in my hands. This clay is an excellent material for working with high and constant quality.

The clays I work with are unique with their plasticity. I use them for decorative ceramic wares as well as for sculptural works. I have moulded more than 50 plastics and sculptures with these shlickers. The results have always been excellent. The products are very good for moulding after the casting. The glazes offered by Ceramit company are very compatible with the other materials, giving deep and dense colours. www.forma-bg.com/mateev

I have been working with the ceramic materials of Ceramit for several years. In particular, these are: the casting clay CM 03, the plastic mass PC 02, PC 02 S0-2, glazes, etc. Using all these materials I succeeded in accomplishing my own free works and many other artworks, all presented at my big exhibition in November - December 2006, in “Raiko Aleksiev” gallery – 125 Rakovska Str., Sofia. These are more than 100 artworks in different sizes, moulded and hand-built. I am also very pleased by the white and the transparent glazes, which do not give crack defects and fit perfectly to the skull. I can confirm the plastic and casting masses’ constant quality, the lack of admixture and limestone, and the stability to the used fire temperatures.
Students doing Ceramic at the National Academy of Arts have also been working with the materials, offered by Ceramit, for several years now and in spite of their little experience and practice, they obtain excellent results. The main merit for the successful work with the company is due to its inventive manager Mr. Todor Kirkov.

Dear Mr. Kirkov,
Since 2002, Obect Ltd. has been using the casting slips, plastic clays, and glazes produced by Ceramit. We apply them in the production of subjects with different functions and each subject is characterized with its own requirements of the technical and technological processes of the production. Taking into consideration the physico-chemical and mechanic properties of shlickers CM 02 and CM 03, we project, elaborate, and produce wares, while we make use of the optimal possibilities of the material.
Using shlicker CM 02, we produce different kinds of lighting fixtures with ware thickness of 1 to 5 mm. In this process, we use the superb transparency of the material. The shlicker produced by Ceramit possesses high whiteness and low water-absorbing level. These properties allow us to produce highly competitive handmade wall ceramic tiling that is worthy in the technical aspect and can match the best examples in this field. We use this material in the production of household ceramics. Our experience in the work with this shlicker shows that during the constructive process, thanks to the properties of the material and the right firing temperature, shapes with various complexity, high quality and low wasters can be achieved. We use shliker CM 02 in a temperature range from 1180 up to 1230îÑ. The wide range of firing and constant whiteness is suitable for different decorative techniques for working on the surface.
ÍWe also use shlicker CM 03, a material suitable for making out subjects with complicated shapes and exact proportions. Its properties are suitable for the sanitary ceramic wares that we produce. Its low air contractibility and high mechanic strength in raw condition are suitable for making casting shapes with complex constructive ideas and exact geometry that stay unchanged in the temperature range of 1180 to 1250îÑ.
Our long-term co-operation with Ceramit has left us with positive impressions. The most important factor for our successful co-operation is the constantly increasing requirements of the manager Todor Kirkov for the quality of the produced materials and his will to expand the product range. All this is possible due to the established company organization and the recruitment of qualified personnel engaged into the developmental and production processes.
Based on our experience, we would recommend Ceramit as a successful partner to all its potential clients.

To: Mr. Todor Kirkov- Manager of Ceramit
“Dear Mr. Kirkov,
On behalf of the management and the team of Spectar Keramic Ltd. Bratzigovo, we would like to express our gratitude to you and your collaborators for the impeccable relationship between you and our company within the last 4 years. Without your loyalty and professional attitude our production base would not have been so stably established on the Bulgarian market. As the main supplier of over 25 tones of raw materials per month, which we use to make our unique souvenirs and ceramic household goods, you have proved that “quality” is a word which can be identified not only with your products, but with your whole work. You have proved that the European type of partnership between supplier and producer is nothing impossible but pure reality.
Thank you very much for always being able to consider the right type of clay that we need. Thank you for keeping the terms of delivery and for your special attitude to the clients. The clay that your company delivers to us has a main role in our production activity and we believe that in the future our partnership will be marked with the signs of good manners, loyalty, and best quality.
Best wishes for health, happiness and professional success!

The finely clay-fired ceramic mass PC 02 is exceptionally plastic. I use it to make slabs with the size of 50-60 cm. and hand-build them vertically without dragging down. After polishing with instruments, it makes an ideal smooth surface. The imprint of an embossment stamp on this clay makes a good and clear mark and does not have to be re-treated. The temperatures I fired it are 1100 to 1140°C and the clay does not leak at all. It begins to glaze. There is no air, it is well vacuumed and has a nice light cream colour.
The clay-fired ceramic mass PC 02 S0-2 is very suitable for large constructions (sculptures) with dimensions of about 1.2-1.3 m. It sticks well and has no traces of limestone. It could be easily rolled out to slabs, dries out comparatively fast with no deformations or splits.

The two clays I worked with are all-purpose and do not require very high fire temperatures. They are clear, with no side admixtures. There are good firing results and no crack defects even at the first firing. |
